Remember those coffee sacks I teased you with? I made them in to a tree skirt!

I used a Simplicity pattern, making adjustments for working with burlap (oy), and finished it with mattress ticking utility fabric (The bottom layer and the bias tape trim). Thank you momma for making my bias tape for me!

I love how it turned out. It reminds me of a live tree, the way burlap is wrapped around the roots.
